Returns & Refunds
In our experience, issues are rare—but when they happen, we handle them quickly.
Because all of our fortune cookies are handmade to order—and often customized with your unique messages—we’re unable to accept returns once an order has been produced or shipped.
That said, we stand behind every order we make.
If something isn’t right
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or not as expected, please reach out to us within 72 hours of delivery at Orders@DHFC.ca.
We’ll review the issue and work with you to make it right. This may include a replacement, partial refund, or full refund depending on the situation.
Damaged in transit
Fortune cookies are delicate by nature, but we take care to package them securely.
If your order arrives with damaged items:
- Please take a photo of the package and affected cookies
- Send it to us within 72 hours of delivery
We’ll take care of the rest.
Order accuracy
Please double-check your order details (including custom messages and shipping information) before submitting.
If we make an error in your order, we’ll fix it.
If an error was made in the information submitted at checkout, we may not be able to offer a refund or replacement.
Cancellations
Because all orders are made to order—and often include fully custom messages—timing matters. Due to the personalized nature of our products, once production begins, materials and labour have already been committed to your order.
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided production has not yet begun.
Production is only scheduled once payment has been received, and once production begins, we are unable to offer cancellations, refunds, or changes to your order.
We begin preparing your custom messages and baking schedule shortly after an order is confirmed, so we recommend reviewing all order details carefully before completing your purchase.
If you need to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible at Orders@DHFC.ca, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request if production has not yet started.
